Zeta AI operates the website zeta-ai.org and the Zeta AI companion chat experience. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and what choices you have. If you have questions about anything here, contact us at privacy@zeta-ai.org.

02Scope of this policy

This policy applies to information collected through zeta-ai.org, any pages, subpages or services we operate under the Zeta AI name, and any communication you have with us by email. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, which have their own policies.

03Age requirement

Zeta AI is intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to use Zeta AI. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

04Information you give us

This includes anything you type into a conversation with a Zeta AI girlfriend, a display name or nickname you choose, an email address if you provide one, and messages you send to our support team.

05Information collected automatically

When you visit zeta-ai.org we may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view and the time you spend on them. This is standard for almost every website and is used to keep Zeta AI running well.

06Cookies and similar tools

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep you signed in where relevant and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how Zeta AI works.

07Conversation content

Your chats with a Zeta AI girlfriend are used to generate her replies and to let her remember context across conversations. We do not sell conversation content, publish it or show it to other users. Conversation content is treated as sensitive and access within Zeta AI is restricted.

08How we use information

We use information to provide and improve Zeta AI, personalise your experience, respond to your requests, keep the service secure, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations and, if you have agreed, send you occasional updates about Zeta AI.

09Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent, the performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in running and protecting Zeta AI, and compliance with legal obligations.

10Personalisation and memory

A core part of Zeta AI is that your girlfriend remembers you. Details you share may be stored and referenced in later conversations so that she can respond in a consistent, personal way. You can ask us to reset or delete this memory at any time.

11Sharing with service providers

We work with a limited number of providers who help us host the site, process messages, store data and send email. They are only permitted to use information to provide services to Zeta AI and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

12Sharing for legal reasons

We may disclose information if we reasonably believe it is required by law, regulation, legal process or government request, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Zeta AI, our users or others.

13Business transfers

If Zeta AI is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will take reasonable steps to ensure the new owner honours this policy.

14We do not sell your data

Zeta AI does not sell personal information, and we do not share conversation content with advertisers or data brokers.

15International transfers

Zeta AI may process information in countries other than the one you live in. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect information that is transferred internationally.

16Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Zeta AI to you, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Conversation data is retained so that your girlfriend can remember you; you can request deletion at any time.

17Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

18Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@zeta-ai.org.

19European Economic Area and United Kingdom

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We will respond to requests within one month unless an extension is permitted.

20California residents

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. Zeta AI does not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

21Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a Do Not Track signal. There is no common standard for how to respond to these signals, so Zeta AI does not currently change its behaviour when one is received.

22Marketing communications

If you have opted in, we may send occasional emails about Zeta AI. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and you can opt out at any time. Service messages, such as important notices about your account, may still be sent.

23Third-party links

Zeta AI may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their policies.

24Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, take additional steps to let you know. Continued use of Zeta AI after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
