01Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using zeta-ai.org or any Zeta AI service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Zeta AI.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use Zeta AI. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.

03Description of the service

Zeta AI provides virtual companion characters that you can chat with. Each Zeta AI girlfriend is a fictional character powered by software. They are not real people, and nothing they say should be treated as professional, medical, legal or financial advice.

04Nature of the characters

All Zeta AI girlfriends, their names, images, stories and personalities are fictional creations. Any resemblance to real persons is coincidental. Images are illustrative and do not depict real individuals.

05Accounts

Some features may require you to create an account or provide contact information. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

06Acceptable use

You agree to use Zeta AI only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not use the service to harass, threaten, exploit or harm anyone, to impersonate others, to distribute malware, to scrape or copy content, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.

07Prohibited content

You must not submit content that is illegal, that sexualises minors, that promotes violence or self-harm, that infringes intellectual property rights or that violates the rights of others. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach this section.

08Your content

You keep ownership of the messages you send. You grant Zeta AI a limited licence to store and process your messages solely to provide and improve the service, including allowing your companion to remember context between conversations.

09Our content

Zeta AI and all materials on the site, including text, design, graphics, character images, logos and software, are owned by Zeta AI or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without written permission.

10Licence to use Zeta AI

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Zeta AI for your own non-commercial use in accordance with these terms.

11Free features and paid features

Basic access to Zeta AI is free. Some features may be offered for a fee. Prices, billing terms and what is included will be shown clearly before you commit to any purchase.

12Payments and billing

If you purchase a paid feature, you authorise us or our payment provider to charge the stated amount. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

13Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time and you will keep access until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once a billing period has begun.

14Third-party services

Zeta AI may link to or rely on third-party websites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

15Availability and changes

We aim to keep Zeta AI available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.

16No professional advice

Conversations with a Zeta AI girlfriend are for companionship and entertainment. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

17Disclaimer of warranties

Zeta AI is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

18Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zeta AI and its owners, staff and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

19Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zeta AI from any claims, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the service or your breach of these terms.

20Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Zeta AI at any time if we believe you have breached these terms or if continuing to provide the service to you creates risk for us or others. You may stop using Zeta AI at any time.

21Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in the Zeta AI Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

22Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Zeta AI is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Where mandatory consumer protection law in your country gives you additional rights, those rights are not affected.

23Dispute resolution

If you have a concern, please contact us first at legal@zeta-ai.org so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot, disputes will be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction described above, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

24Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will post the revised terms on this page and update the date at the top. If you continue to use Zeta AI after changes take effect, you accept the revised terms.

25Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Zeta AI regarding the service.
